Open Question: Do I have Mayan ancestry?
I've got a question about Mayan ancestry. Well, you look, about five and a half years ago, I became interested in Native-American culture, specifically the Mesoamerican civilizations, The ancient Mayans and the Aztecs. My dad hails from the humble and beautiful country of El Salvador, while my mom is from the breath-taking land of Mexico. Both these nations have a wealthy history, and I would like to know if I have the physical traits of these peoples, particularly the Maya peoples. For one thing, my dad is a tall man with black hair, a long face, tan skin, a slightly big nose, and a slightly-bearded face. My mom is short, curly brown/black hair, a long face too, and a tiny nose, and she has much lighter skin than my dad. As for me, I have a long face (like my dad), with tan skin (like my dad), a slightly bulbous but straight nose, I think I have my Dad's height (I'm taller than my older brother, and so is my Dad) and honestly, I can't tell if my hair is wavy or straight. Sometimes, it looks wavy, other times it looks kinda when it's short, I dunno. Also, it'll be interesting to note, that I have a silly birthmark on the lower half of my back. It's sort of like a darker shade of brown on my back, and ever since I've grown, I can look it less and less. I've heard that Mayans have a birthmark on their backs. So, I wonder... Could there be a possibility that I am Mayan?

Open Question: Should i go to the WC 2010 opening match?
I have a pal who has a spare ticket for the opening match South Africa vs Mexico, I will be there in that period traveling and I don´t really know if that´s worth it, he says I am stupid not to use it, that an opening match and a final match are everybodie´s dream. The tickets is Cat 1 so the price is around 450 USD, which i think excesive. Do you think this match is worth that money? I am not neither south african nor mexican. Thanks in advance!

Open Question: Traveling To Tijuana 2010?
I plan on going to Tijuana (only for a couple of hours--just to look it) but hear it's not safe right now and that you should avoid it at every costs. I don't plan on going down side streets or doing drug deals and we're going with a big group of people so I don't feel scared and the only thing I've seen is the government warning for kids not to go on spring break to mexico (usually drunk and sometimes not very bright kids who leave bars with people they don't know...that could be dangerous anywhere.) Any thoughts??

I was wondering and i never asked so now i am..if a us citizen marries in Mexico to someone from their or is a u.s citizen meets a mexican here and marries here when he is illegal what is the difference? if you marry them their they are not illegal to their possess country but they are illegal to here.am i making any sence?would it be better to marry them in mexico then bring them here or just marry them here(illegally) then pay the fine and receive the papers done..

Open Question: I want to live on a beach for the summer, anyone familiar with a program?
I've heard about places where you can live in a tiny apartment maybe even close a beach for very little. I want to do some traveling this summer, find somewhere beautiful and exciting and have some amazing experiences for cheap. If anything just a calm beautiful place where I can paint, draw, and write. I've heard of Thailand and Jamaica as suggestions but I haven't gotten any solid details. Anyone know of a site where I can book a place? Any other information/suggestions would help. (I don't want to go to Mexico though)

three days ago an image came to my mind, i am not saying i'm a psyquic or whatever, but it can happen, who knows right! the image that came to my mind was from the Pacific Ocean by Mexico below the states of Jalisco, Colima and Michoacan, but in the ocean that new islands appeared it was cause of the earthquake in chile, the water leveled down and new islands appeared in that area, there was a bunch and they were big like the size of road island!! i dont know, maybe i am too crazy but who knows right! nobody knows, nowadays almost everything is possible. this image came to my mind like 3 days ago! and today is march 9 2010 i dont know what do u people think?! and i am not lying about this, when it came up to my mind i was like WTF!!! the image lasted like 1 sec in my mind!

Maybe they are taking revenge b/c their country sold their land....like New Mexico, California etc. Has anyone thought of that? My pal Anya got invited to go to California with a pal who's american but the thing is that her parents came here from Mexico in like 1999 but she was born over there. Open Question: Why do highways/motorways in many parts of Europe tend to be better paved than in North America?
UK, France, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Netherlands, Spain, etc ... every the highways in these countries seem to be in great shape. Nearly every the highways are well paved with soft black tar and the bridges, overpasses, etc every seem quite modern. In North America (Canada/USA/Mexico), the highways aren't in as good as shape. Cracked concrete pavement, old rusted signs, old rusted fences on overpasses, etc. So why can't highways here be as good as in Europe? People will probably say it's because there's more highways here, but there's just as many highways there. Why can't we just do what they do?

outback. every the better places to live such as Western Europe every seem to already have some sort of ObamaCare in place so I would not consider them. New Zealand has already fallen to the socialists and even Mexico has a national health care system. Where can I go to escape the socialists, where there is a good free market health care system that is free from government intervention? My only choices seem to be places like Kenya but I don't want to live alongside poverty. At border checkpoints including San Ysidro and Calexico, 294 immigrants were found hidden in vehicles, or were using fraudulent entry documents or documents legally issued to someone else, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security said. Among those arrested were 16 fugitives wanted on charges of battery, burglary, assault and probation violation. A Guatemalan national showed border agents a U.S. birth certificate and federal Bureau of Prisons release authorization form with his photo. But suspicious officers at the San Ysidro crossing questioned the man and determined that the documents belonged to another person, the Homeland Security Department said. The man was arrested and transported to the Metropolitan Detention middle in downtown Los Angeles to await arraignment for allegedly making a untrue claim to U.S. citizenship, the department said. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ These people are using fraudulent entry documents, documents legally issued to someone else, and make untrue claims to US citizenship. 16 are fugitives wanted on charges of battery, burglary, assault and probation violation. Jim Morrison was born on December 8th 1943 in Melbourne Florida to his parents, Clara and Steve Morrison. He grew up in a post World War II atmosphere, and his dad was an admiral in the navy. His dad was often gone a lot and for the first 18 months of Jim’s life he was on duty. Clara and Jimmy lived with Steve’s parents, Paul and Caroline during this time. In 1947, the family moved to New Mexico where in Los Alamos the hydrogen bomb was being developed. When Jim was three, about to be four, he got a sister named Anne. But if that was traumatic to Jimmy, something else happened in New Mexico that would stay with Jim for the relax of his life. It happened in the early morning on a highway between Santa Fe and Albuquerque. In the car included himself, his mom and dad, and his grandparents. One point into the journey his dad pulled off to the side of the road. His dad and grandfather got out of the car to help. Jimmy looked up to look a bloody head-on collision with another car, and what looked like some Pueblo or Hopi Indians. People that were dead and injured scattered the roads, and little Jimmy wanted to help. As he tried to receive out of the car; his mom had to hold him back. every Jimmy could do was to squirm and squiggle to try and look at the gory chaos outside of the car. As they pulled away he pressed his face to the glass, mesmerized at what happened. They stopped at a gas station a few miles ahead to call for help and fill up on gas. Jim was visibly disarrayed. He kept asking questions as well. Soon enough everyone in the car was getting so agitated that his dad finally said “Jimmy, it didn’t really happen. It was just a bad dream.” Jimmy didn’t believe his dad though. “It was the first time I discovered death. I’m just this little…like a child is a blossom, man, whose head is just floating in the breeze. But the reaction I receive now, thinking back, looking back, is that, possibly, the soul of one of those Indians, maybe several of them, just ran over and jumped into my brain… It’s not a ghost story, man. It’s something that really means something to me” (Davis, 8.) Soon after, Jimmy began to wet his bed. He would go to his mom when this happened but she would send him to his room to snooze in the wet sheets. “Shame city” (Davis, 8.) He was so ashamed he would try to hide it, but his mom always found out. Then he started to not want to snooze in his bedroom at every, he was too frightened. every of this bed wetting could have been associated with a childhood bout of rheumatic fever, which may have also weakened his heart. Jim Morrison was introduced into sex and sexuality early on in his life. Jim Morrison’s lawyer, Max Fink interviewed Jim in 1969, while getting ready for their trail for a lewd and obscene concert in Dade County. Max asked Jim to debrief his sexual history. He asked why he had chosen to show his penis on stage, and Jim replied, saying he thought it was a “good way to page homage to my parents.” (Davis, 9.) He soon started public school as a shy, chubby boy who hated riding the school bus in the morning. Paranoia of the icy War was still around and schools regularly required practicing duck and covering routines. Sometimes, lining the halls which were darkened, and stay beyond the range of bursting glass, as A-bombs wrecked their world. As a child, watching TV on the tiny 7 inch screen had a big impact on Jimmy. This would later be shown in the amateur films he made in college. In 1949, his younger brother Andrew was born. The family moved back to Washington DC for a year, then moved back to California, in Claremont. Jim’s dad, Steve was serving in Korea. Jim Morrison attended Longfellow Elementary where he started 6th grade as a chubby, dominant boy. Including getting the title for best kickballer and president of the student council. But soon Jim was getting into trouble. When he was in the Cub Scouts his was asked to leave because of lack of respect and unruliness. In 1955 the family moved back to New Mexico where Jimmy started to change significantly. He gave up on piano lessons, his time with family became less, and he soon became fascinated with pre-historic looking reptiles. He would read about them. He would hunt them down, looking for their homes. The reptiles in the desert became Jim Morrison’s personal family, his friends. And soon, he became their king. “I am the Lizard King! I role play on a site called Wild Legacy, it is the rebuilt verion of Wild Horse Island. I have two wolf characters, & one of them is attempting to take over a territory. I would like to redo the picture, & stats, as the one currently up just has text. I am looking for someone who will do it out of the kindness of their heart. What I'm Wanting: Territory name is Sunray Point so I was thinking like cliffs in Arizona/New Mexico, but I would like wolves added to it, like around the bottom or sides, as well as a scroll box the is semi opaque in the middle where I can add info about the territory & stats.
